Here is how you can actually render your video into 50p or 60p.
I have done it myself using a clip I shot with the consumer NEX-5.
For a Sony AVC MP4 50p:
open up Render As and select in the dropdown list: Sony AVC.
In the preset template, select Internet 1920×1080-25p or Internet 1920×1080-30p,
then click ‘Custom’ and modify the fields as follows:
Profile -> Baseline or Main
Entropy coding -> CABAC
Frame rate -> 50
Bit rate -> 20,000,000
On the Top of the windows, change the name of the preset for AVC 1920×1080 50p and save.
This way you have create your own 50p preset.
For a Sony AVC MP4 60p:
open up Render As and select in the dropdown list: Sony AVC.
In the preset template, select Internet 1920×1080-25p or Internet 1920×1080-30p,
then click ‘Custom’ and modify the fields as follows:
Profile -> Baseline or Main
Entropy coding -> CABAC
Frame rate -> 59.94
Bit rate -> 20,000,000
On the Top of the windows, change the name of the preset for AVC 1920×1080 60p and save.
