Ever wondered where the Autosave files are kept?
Well look if you go to OPTIONS >> PREFERENCES in Vegas pro and then look in the generals tab, at the bottom is the file location for those files.
You can change this location to one that you prefer, perhaps to a NAS drive or onto a different drive as a backup precaution.
e.g. C:\Users\NLE2\AppData\Local\Sony\Vegas Pro\10.0\
BRO I JUST EDITED 6 HOURS WORTH OF CLIPS WITH FULL CAPTIONS AND IT DIDN’T AUTOSAVE
the program makes a back up file labelled, “NAME”.veg.bak llok for that and re-open the project
u just saved me thank u very much pheww
The only reason this is necessary is because Vegas doesn’t autoMagixly load the most recent file when it notices it crashed. But thanks for posting, this was exactly what I need to know, especially the example location.
